The owner of Bells and the Ball, Brittany Smith-Tukkinen, was diagnosed with hip dysplasia when she was born. At the young age of 6 months, Brittany underwent surgery performed at Shriners Hospital in Houston, TX. After 18 years of check-ups, Brittany is now thriving in everyday life with very minimal hip complications. Born to a single mother who only had the support of her family, Shriners completed the successful operation cost-free thanks to the kind donors around the world.
